A key concept to understand about the body is that skeletal position dictates muscular function, and muscular function dictates skeletal position. The two exist in a continuous reciprocal relationship.
Hi there, I’m Anna Hajosi, a Sports Medicine Acupuncturist (NYS), Pilates Instructor, and Registered Dietitian (Hungary). I created my clinic to help people overcome pain, limitations in mobility, develop balanced strength and create efficient movement patterns. I believe in a personalized, nuanced and disciplined treatment approach. Using acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, herbal medicine, and Pilates-based rehabilitation, I support patients from initial injury through to full functional recovery. I understand the importance of getting back to full function. I love exercising - I’ve completed a half and full Ironman, the NYC Marathon, and I used to be a pacer for Adidas Runners NYC. Nowadays my workout routine consists of Pilates and Krav Maga, along with casual runs in Central Park. The name comes from Moxibustion, which is a procedure in Chinese medicine when an herb "mugwort" is burned on / above the skin to promote healing rather than using an acupuncture needle.
Born in April 2026, Moxa is currently working toward his most important qualification: Professional Good Boy. He’s still in training, but he takes his responsibilities very seriously, especially when it comes to welcoming visitors, keeping us company, and occasionally supervising the office. |
