Maryland full Ironman 140.6
I put my heart into preparing for this race, and these past nine months have been eye-opening and humbling. The 2.4-mile swim initially seemed terrifying, but now feels totally doable. Your body can handle almost anything; it’s your mind you have to convince.
I was also so worried about fitting training into my already busy work schedule. Work always comes first, but somehow, everything fell into place. The mantra of the Ironman is "Anything is possible," and that’s how I want to live my life. 140.6 miles, here I come!
